## About

Petr Kudrnovsky is a 24-year-old from Prague, Czech Republic. He studies Digital Business Engineering in a double degree program at FIT ČVUT (Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Information Technology) and UAntwerp (University of Antwerp). He holds a BSc in Web Engineering from FIT ČVUT, where his thesis "Thinklink" won the Dean's Award. He participates in the Honors Academia program at VŠE (Prague University of Economics and Business), focused on business and management development. He also completed an Erasmus semester at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.

He works at Bonami (since June 2025) as an IT Business Analyst, focusing on data analysis, statistical models, and communicating data-driven insights to the CEO and leadership. Key work includes developing a data-driven assortment model for eliminating suboptimal products and recalculating delivery fee structures for all 12 countries. He works primarily with Keboola, SQL, Python, and Tableau. He previously worked as a web developer at Externity (February 2021 – April 2025), doing full-stack development with PHP 8.1 and Symfony for government, healthcare, and small business clients (10 team projects, 3 solo projects). He continues freelance web development and consulting (WordPress, WebFlow, October CMS, HTML/CSS/JS, Figma).

He speaks Czech (native), English, and German.

## Notable Projects

- **Thinklink**: Bachelor thesis web app that automatically links Markdown notes using vector embeddings, TF-IDF, and word matching. Won the Dean's Award for exceptional thesis at FIT ČVUT.
- **Emailovník**: Social project — email courses on internet safety for seniors. Won the Samsung Tvoje Šance #futureskills competition.
- **AstroPI**: High school project with team Intergal in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Python program ran physically on the International Space Station for 1.5 hours, collecting data to prove solar wind effects on Earth's magnetic field.
- **C++ File Manager**: Semestral project at FIT ČVUT. Terminal-based file manager inspired by Midnight Commander, focused on OOP principles, testing, and maintainability.
- **ML Challenge · UAntwerp**: 3rd place out of 50 teams in a banking machine learning competition.
